Zunächst zur Ausstellungseröffnung von Yang Fudong (杨福东) bin ich am gestrigen Samstag, den 12. Mai 2012, und war sehr angetan von seinen beiden Screenings in der Galerie ShanghART BJ im Caochangdi (CCD). Jeweils in separatem, jeweils großzügigem Raum gab es zum einen den Titel "Close to the Sea" (靠近海, 2004), dann über Umwege mit mich nicht allzu beeindruckenden Fotografien Yangs und über eine schon bessere Verköstigung ging es zum anderen Titel, "The Revival of the Snake" (等待蛇的苏醒, 2005), dort im Vorraum mit angenehm leichten, hier- und dorthin schweifenden Textausschnitten zu seinem Verständnis eines Intellektuellen und warum Filme und was sie so sollen oder ev. können. Sich gleiten lassen auf dem Weg, was sie vielleicht aussagen und für Ideen mit sich tragen mögen.

Die einzelnen Filmsequenzen aus B-Material mit verschiedenen Perspektiven bestrahlen auf acht, neun Leinwänden die Außenwände des Raumes und tragen das Hauptgeschehen der von beiden Seiten in der Mitte des Raumes bespielten Leinwand. Besser als "The Revival of the Snake", bei dem es um einen desertierenden Soldaten auf der Flucht geht, fande ich das sehr das Gefühl ansprechende "Close to the Sea" mit seiner Meerszene in der Mitte und den Musikern außen. Gegenüber bei Alexander Ochs gab es mal wieder gleich drei Künstler, die eröffnet wurden. Hier Wang Shugang (王书刚) mit dem Sinnspruch "Nur in einem Land, dass du dir nicht denken kannst, gibt es etwas, dass du nicht tun kannst", oder so ähnlich, hoch an der Wand über seinen Figuren, eins auf einem Grasschlammpferd (Kulturgut berichtete, increep-Link ist leider nicht mehr gültig). Eher Gähn.



Und dann das Bonbon zum Schluss: Die Ausstellungseröffnung von Qiu Shihua (邱世华) in der Galerie Urs Meile (2010 hatte ich schon einmal ein Bild von Qiu in "Auf Kunstreise in BJ" gepostet, das ich damals in Meiles Galeriegemächern bewundern durfte). Auf Fotos kommt die subtile Landschaft, die sich beim tatsächlichen Gegenübertreten von Qius Bildern erst nach einem Moment auf den hellen Leinwänden erschließt, besser heraus, aber das ist natürlich nichts im Vergleich dazu, sie in echt dort hängen zu sehen. Bis zum 8. Juli 2012 läuft die Ausstellung und sei jedem ans Herz gelegt. Hier ein Bergsee:

Nun ist es also tatsächlich soweit. Eigentlich dachte ich, bei all den Millionen Nutzern würde es eine ganze Weile dauern und man könne die Aufforderungen, wenn es dann soweit wäre, zunächst einmal ignorieren. Weit gefehlt, ich wurde durch Automatismen aufgespürt.

Am 10. März 2012 erhielt ich erstmalig folgende private Nachricht auf meinen Weibo-Account von der Adresse "微薄勋章 (Weibo-Medaille)":

Am 17. März 2012 kam dann diese zweite, beruhigende Nachricht von der "微薄小秘书 (Weibo-Sekretärin)":

"您好，由于你是手机用户，已经具备真实用户身份，可以正常使用微博。感谢您对新浪微博的支持。 (Hallo, als Handynutzer verwenden Sie bereits Ihre wahre Benutzer-Identität und können somit weiterhin normal Weibo benutzen. Vielen Dank für Ihre Unterstützung von Sina Weibo.)"

Dass ich damit meine wahre Identifikation als Weibo-Nutzer umgehe, da ich mit meiner Prepaid-Handynummer an keinen Vertrag gebunden bin, mag entweder ein Trugschluss für mich sein (mit Trackingmglk. o. ä.) oder vielleicht doch ein tatsächlich, wenn auch passiv geschlagenes Schnippchen. Dies gilt für mich, es bleibt abzuwarten, wie es sich mit der cn. Mehrheit der Nutzer verhält.

Unter dem Titel "Alte Landschaften Neu: Das Traditionelle in der heutigen Zeit" präsentiert die Baseler Galerie Jan Kossen Yang Yongliangs Serie "The Peach Colony".

His new work is more contemplative: One year after the tragic earthquake of Wenchuan, Xiao went to document the damage caused to temples and historical monuments. There he found these 800 fallen Arhats – lying strewn in the wind, left to no one’s care.
